I started working with HTML and CSS in 2003, which led to PHP development shortly after that. I had a short stint as a developer for WordPress in 2007. Currently I am not involved in any software development but I occasionally post about technology or web development.
This website runs on WordPress, with hosting handled by NearlyFreeSpeech. The custom fonts you see on the site are served through the Google Fonts API. My coding is done in Textmate 2 and Sublime Text 3, and I deploy using the sync feature of Transmit.
The theme that I am currently using, which I named Rainier, was quickly thrown together after the theme that I was using before got corrupted by a syncing mishap. So I scrambled to make a bare-bones theme as fast as possible, although unfortunately it will stay until I find time to come up with a real design (soon™).
The ads in the footer are run through Text Link Ads, and allows this site to sustain its hosting and registration costs.
