&lt;p&gt;To reply to a couple of your questions, you can send Keywords that work with the tags feature of WP 2.3, the field is just hidden by default because it doesn&#039;t apply to most people. If you select from the main menu View -&gt; Keywords Field, it will stick &quot;on&quot; for that weblog and be visible until you hide it again. It basically gives you the power to control what your post windows look like, to a certain extent.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;WordPress uploads work to the minimal extent that WordPress supports the metaweblog &quot;media&quot; upload. From the Upload pane of MarsEdit&#039;s Media Manager, just drag a file in and select your WordPress blog from the popup. Leave the &quot;in&quot; field blank because WordPress doesn&#039;t really use this for anything useful.&lt;/p&gt;
