Footnotes 1.0

by Robin on September 28th, 2007

I’ve released Footnotes 1.0, a plugin for Habari that adds, well, footnote functionality. Right now it’s pretty basic (it works, is easy to style with CSS, and did I mention, works?), but I hope to expand the feature set in future releases.

Special thanks to the WP-Footnotes plugin which inspired the concept and some of the initial features.

Go to the Footnotes project page to download it now.

  1. Hi! I don’t know if you still support this, but… I’ve tried to install your plugin on Habari but I get a line that reads “Attempted to load the plugin file “footnotes.plugin.php”, but it failed with syntax errors”. May it be a compatibility issue with the 0.3.3 release, or is it just some trouble on my side? Thanks in advance.

  2. Yeah, this is probably a compatibility issue as Habari is changing rapidly.

I’ll be sure to get on this in the next few days.
