Well, to tell you the truth, I did see that, and I immediately switched to markup-only mode :). The sidebar for fine-tuning CSS declarations seemed clunky and hard to use, and I could get by much faster by just typing it out, rather than searching through the menus.

That said, I can see how it would be useful for someone who isn't familiar with CSS, so they can edit it in a GUI-like environment similar to something like Microsoft Word.

I have actually grown to like CSSEdit. I don’t know why you didn’t see the big panel on the right, but it gives you a lot of options about text style, spacing, padding/margins, background.. A lot of stuff that I can’t seem to remember :P. The auto complete is a bit annoying though if you are trying to write it by yourself.
