The sidebar for fine-tuning CSS declarations seemed clunky and hard to use, and I could get by much faster by just typing it out, rather than searching through the menus.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;That said, I can see how it would be useful for someone who isn&#039;t familiar with CSS, so they can edit it in a GUI-like environment similar to something like Microsoft Word.&lt;/p&gt;

I don&#039;t know why you didn&#039;t see the big panel on the right, but it gives you a lot of options about text style, spacing, padding/margins, background.. A lot of stuff that I can&#039;t seem to remember :P. The auto complete is a bit annoying though if you are trying to write it by yourself.&lt;/p&gt;
